Village Justice
John P. O'Shea
The Village Justice, who is elected to a four-year term, heads the Mineola Village Justice Court. Village Justice John P. O'Shea Jr. was first appointed Acting Village Justice by the Board of Trustees and was then elected at a special election in 1996. He has been serving on the bench since then winning re-elections in 1998 and 2002.

Richard M. O'Callaghan
The Acting Village Justice is appointed annually by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Trustees. The Honorable Richard M. O'Callaghan is the currently serving as the Acting Village Justice. His duties include assisting the Village Justice when necessary and acting as the Village Justice in his absence.
